Isn't it mind boggling simply to contemplate the miracle and diversity of life on Earth? I, for one, am truly amazed at life on Earth and the human race.

THE POPULATION BOMB
In discussing the secret of life on Earth, humans should not become overly preoccupied with the birds and the bees (that is, copulating and procreating) to the point that they forget about the problem of overpopulation. As with all things in life, when it comes to human population growth, there must be balance. If human population continues to grow at its current pace, the long-term outcome for humankind is likely to be catastrophic. A decent quality of life on Earth cannot be sustained with unlimited population growth. There are not enough natural resources on Earth to support unlimited human population growth.
