JOY
The purpose of this page is to send a little more joy your way. Isn't the miracle of life wonderful? Isn't magnificent Earth worth celebrating? I think so. For I am truly amazed at life on Earth and the human race.
Why not let the music play? Why not give the peoples of the Earth some joyful music to celebrate their having the good fortune of being among the living? And now, band, without further ado, hit them with some joy:
It's been said that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy—and Jill a dull girl. A key to life appears to be in finding a good balance between work and play. Some humans work too much and play too little. Other humans play too much and work too little. One unique thing about the disco dance fad was this: After a week of working hard, disco dancing showed humans one way to unbutton their collars, let down their hair, loosen up, relax, and simply enjoy life.
Much like Michael Jackson often was referred to as the "King of Pop," during the 1970's, Donna Summer came to be referred to as the "Queen of Disco." Donna Summer's producer, Giorgio Moroder, was credited with popularizing electronic dance music, which explains why the above videos closed with a Donna Summer/Giorgio Moroder tune (that is, "I Feel Love"). It is further worth noting that, at the dawn of the 21st century (during the 2010's), the electro dance fad appears to have swept the globe—or some fusion-trance derivative of it—and it's all good (sans the substance abuse).
ULTIMATE JOY
There is no greater joy on Earth than the miracle of birth. The ultimate joy on Earth would have to be human offsprings. For planet Earth's future rests in the hands of today's children. It is today's children who are next in line to run the world, which is a tremendous responsibility in these days of high science, high technology, and big data. Here's wishing them all the best with much success.
